During my recent transit in Kuala Tahan, I stayed at Xcape Resort Taman Negara. Although I didn't get to fully experience the hotel, I can say that it is conveniently located for guests stopping to discover the wonders of Pahang. With its proximity to various attractions, it offers a great opportunity for exploration. the hotel provides a range of facilities that seem to cater to the needs of travelers, ensuring a comfortable stay.
One minor drawback I encountered during my stay was the lack of proper management and maintenance of the hotel. The property appeared old and run-down, which can be disappointing for some guests.

It is also just a short distance away from the national park, allowing guests to easily access the stunning natural beauty. The rooms are spacious and clean, providing a comfortable stay. The bathroom is well-maintained and separate from the toilet, which is a rare find in Malaysia. Additionally, the staff are helpful and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant experience for guests.

The accommodations were mind-blowing! The rooms were clean and the air conditioning worked perfectly, ensuring a comfortable stay. The location was super convenient, with easy access to Taman Negara and nearby food options. The surroundings were peaceful and safe, allowing for pleasant walks in the area. The swimming pool was a jaw-dropping bonus, especially on hot days. Although towel rental was required, it was totally worth it. The beds were incredibly comfortable, equipped with two pillows per person. The shower was powerful, and the option for a hot bath was a luxury after long jungle walks. The breakfast was top-notch, with made-to-order eggs and a fixed toaster. The resort's close proximity to the jetties made it a breeze to cross the river to Taman Negara. we were pleasantly surprised by our stay and felt that we got more than what we paid for. We witnessed a Malaysian family having a lovely picnic by the pool , which added to the enjoyable ambiance. Plus, the free Wi-Fi, car park, exercise gym, electric kettle, bar/lounge area.

The breakfast menu could use some improvement, especially offering a wider variety of options.

As a light sleeper, I loved that the room had air conditioning, ensuring a comfortable temperature for a good night's sleep. The private bathroom was clean and supplied with complimentary toiletries. I also appreciated the complimentary coffee and tea provided in the room. I felt at home in this room.
The only downside for me was that the room had tile flooring, which made it a bit colder than I prefer. However, this is just a personal preference and others may still find it enjoyable.

The room was spacious and had a separate seating area where I could relax after a long day. I loved the air conditioning in the large room for 4, it made the temperature just perfect. It was great to have a private bathroom with a shower, and they even provided complimentary toiletries and a hairdryer. The selected guestrooms offered complimentary instant coffee and tea, which was a nice touch. The twin room had a balcony, which was a lovely spot to enjoy the view.
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the tile flooring in the large room for 4, as it made the room feel a bit cold.

The location of the resort was fantastic, surrounded by beautiful mountains and offering a stunning view. the pool was a great feature, allowing guests to relax and cool off in the hot weather. - the staff were friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any requests or questions.
The service at the resort was severely lacking. Room service was non-existent, requiring guests to walk to the reception for even the simplest requests, such as fresh towels.
